Exhibition 'Human Endeavour'.

'Textures of time: landscape architecture' will be shown as part of an exhibition in the Brighton Photo Fringe at the Bellis gallery. 8-9 Kings Road, Brighton, BN1 1NE. The show brings together four emerging photographers under the banner of Human Endeavour. From 03rd of Oct. to the 30th of November 2008. The exhibition has been funded by the Arts Council England and is a collaboration with Murray Ballard, Alex Currie and Simon Carruthers. Curated around a central theme 'Human Endeavour' aims to tackle important issues of the day concerning human intervention and activity in the 21st century.

Arts Council England Award.

Richard has received an award from 'The Arts Council England' to produce a body of work that investigates various quarries around Sussex. The work from this project, entitled 'Textures of time', will be shown at Amberley Working Museum from June to September 2008

Richard is currently working for the Photographers Gallery London, on the'Colliers Green Focus project'. Teaching Key stage 3 children to explore the environment through photography. The workshops this year are taking place in London, Birmingham, Leeds, Bradford and Bristol.
